Applications
Cable complying with the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR EU 305/11), with the aim of limiting the production and spread of fire and smoke.Multi-core cable for control, signalling, command and measurement installations. Its non-fire propagation characteristics and small external dimensions make it particularly suitable for intercom systems. This cable can always be installed in coexistence with 450/750V energy cables and furthermore, if used to supply category 0 systems (rated voltage less than or equal to 50V, if alternating current, or 120V, if direct current or non-conducting), it can also be installed in coexistence with 0.6/1kV energy cables supplying loads with a rated voltage of 230/400V. This does not exclude possible problems due to electromagnetic interference. Underground laying, even if protected, is not permitted.

The first 3 characters of the code are called pre-code, and can be either a generic CON which stands for conduit or the METEL pre-code of each brand. Example CSB stands for Specialcavi Baldassarri.
