Due to the high heat production it is necessary to mount the strip on material with good heat dissipation (e.g. metal); we recommend our PA series aluminium profiles.

POWER SUPPLY GUIDE
This LED Strip is 24V which means that it cannot be directly connected with a plug to your electrical system because it is 230V.
What you need is a power supply unit, which should be input 230v output 24V, specific for LEDs and have a appropriate wattage.
To find out which wattage is adequate you need to do the simple calculation: how many metres of strip I want to use multiplied by wattage per metre and I get the number of watts needed. For example, if I want to use 4 metres of a 15W LED strip I will need a power supply for LEDs, 24V, with a minimum wattage of 60W.
It is advisable to stay slightly above this to extend the life of the power supply. For example, if you need 52W and have to choose between a 50W and a 60W power supply, better to opt for the latter.
