Power Dimmer LED 4÷400W 230Vac programmable with STATUS MEMORY for installation in standardised flush-mounting and junction boxes. It should be used in dry, dust-free places at temperatures between -5°C and +30°C. The special technology used guarantees the complete absence
of acoustic hum. It is suitable for controlling resistive and inductive loads, dimmable LEDs and 230Vac LED strips as shown in table C enclosed, with 230Vac 50Hz power supply and a maximum power of 4÷400W. Switching on and off always occurs gradually by means of the soft-start and soft-down functions. Switching on, switching off and load adjustment are carried out by acting on the extension buttons, all referring to Phase or all referring to Neutral. Short pulses are used to switch the load on and off. By holding down one of the control buttons, the brightness level rises Þrst. Repeating this command causes the brightness level to decrease until the Minimum is found. For correct no-flickering operation it may be necessary to carry out the Minimum Illumination Level Calibration which is done with the blade of a small screwdriver by acting on the trimmer provided. Use one of the control buttons to bring the brightness to the minimum value and only then turn the trimmer clockwise to set the most suitable or desired minimum brightness level.

OPERATING MEMORY: The Dimmer can be programmed with or without an operating memory, which allows you to memorise the last pre-set brightness level, thus keeping it for subsequent switching on and off with short presses on the control buttons. To proceed with its enabling or disabling, hold down one of the control buttons and give power to the device while keeping this button closed and wait about 10 seconds: if the Memory was active it is deactivated and vice versa. From the factory it is supplied with the Operating Memory enabled.

STATUS MEMORY: The Dimmer can be programmed with or without a Status Memory, which allows the Dimmer's brightness status to be maintained even after the power supply fails and is subsequently restored (e.g. ON OFF controlled by a twilight relay). To enable it, hold one of the control buttons closed for 20 seconds, after which the connected load will flash twice and the Status Memory will be enabled. To disable it, hold one of the control buttons closed for 20 seconds, after which the connected load will flash once and the Status Memory will be disabled. From the factory it is supplied with Status Memory disabled.

DIP SWITCH SETTING: The LED Power Dimmer is able to adjust various types of load according to the setting of the two DIP switches on the side. Leading Edge or Trailing Edge. See the table DIP SWITCHES 1 and 2 for the correct setting. With Dip Switch 2 in the down (ON) position LE-TE Dimmer function, with Dip Switch 2 in the OFF (up) position Central Edge Dimmer function for dimming 230Vac 4-400W LED strips without visible flickering even at low brightness.
To set the Static Silent Stepping Relay function with which to control any type of load set DIP Switch 2 to the ON (down) position and the Minimum Trimmer set fully clockwise (to max.). The DIP switches must be programmed before the device is energised. Loads of different types or from different manufacturers must not be controlled together.

WARNING: The regulator must not be subjected to the direct action of heat sources. The rated power must never be exceeded. The load must always be considered live. The switch-on and switch-off ramp in the initial part of the control has been specially lengthened to achieve greater precision in selecting the light intensity at low levels of the 230Vac LED strips.

PROTECTIONS: To protect both the electronic device and the load, a fuse with a high breaking capacity appropriate to the load or in any case to the maximum power of the dimmer should be inserted.

INSTALLATION RULES: The installation must be carried out in accordance with the CEI regulations in force. Before working on the installation, switch off the power supply by means of the main switch. Use yellow/green insulated conductors for the earth connection only. Ensure that the cross-section of the supply conductors is suitable for the load being supplied and in any
case not less than 1.5 mm². The installation site must have sufficient ventilation to dissipate the heat produced. To facilitate the dissipation of the heat produced by the regulator, when it is used with a load greater than 50W, leave the space of one module between one regulator and the other if they are placed in the same junction box
