The Fantini Cosmi P13E is a carbon monoxide (CO) leak detector, designed to signal the presence of dangerous concentrations of CO in the air. This odourless and colourless gas can cause serious damage to health or even death by asphyxiation. The P13E detects the gas by means of an electrochemical sensor and signals both visual and audible alarms in the event of danger.

Modes of operation:
The P13E intervenes depending on the CO concentration and duration of exposure. The system emits an acoustic and visual alarm according to the following concentration scale:
30 PPM: No alarm for at least 120 minutes
50 PPM: Alarm within 60-90 minutes
100 PPM: Alarm within 10-40 minutes
300 PPM: Alarm within 3 minutes

In alarm mode, the red LED flashes three times every four seconds and the device emits a sound for each flash. The system automatically returns to monitoring mode when the CO concentration falls below the danger level.
