Stock Elettrico promotes and pursues an eco-sustainable commercial practice.

Since 2013, Stock Elettrico's servers have been powered by energy from solar panels.

AN ECO-SUSTAINABLE E-COMMERCE, HOW?

- We heavily use biodegradable packaging material. 50% of the packaging material used by Stock Elettrico is recyclable or biodegradable paper. We are working to reduce the use of plastic packaging more and more.

- Of the non-biodegradable material we use, 75% consists of the reuse of material received from our suppliers. The plastic material that we cannot reuse as packaging is recycled by SEI TOSCANA.

- We only hire warehouse workers who live within 20km of our offices. To minimize the production of greenhouse gases from moving.

- We promote the technological renewal of materials and products. Always highlighting the latest generation ones with lower consumption.

HOW CAN THE BUYER BUY IN AN ECO-SUSTAINABLE WAY?

- Prefer products with low energy consumption, always pay attention to the energy class: a higher rating corresponds to a lower CO2 emission (and a lower energy consumption!)

- Make sure you buy easy-to-pack merchandise if possible. Less packaging, less pollution in the environment.

- When you receive a package, dispose of the packaging materials responsibly. Check with your local authorities for recycling methods.

- Use search engines that invest their advertising revenues in Green policies, or use extensions that minimize the power consumption of the monitor thanks to the black screen.
